After sharing my Jordaan Photo Walk on YouTube, I was blown away by the thoughtful messages, curiosity, and kind support from so many of you. It’s clear that there's a growing interest in analog photography — and I’m thrilled to bring that experience offline with a hands-on, analog photography workshop and photo walk through Amsterdam’s Jordaan neighborhood.

A Creative Workshop & Photowalk Experience in Amsterdam

Whether you’re just starting out with film photography or returning to it after a break, this creative workshop is designed to help you build confidence behind the lens and reconnect with the joy of shooting analog.

We’ll cover film photography basics, including manual settings, lighting, composition, and creative techniques for telling visual stories. Then, we’ll head out on an immersive photo walk through the historic Jordaan, one of Amsterdam’s most charming neighborhoods.

What You'll Experience

  • Learn the essentials of film photography: I’ll introduce you to the basics ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and how to shoot intentionally with limited frames.

  • Capture the soul of Amsterdam: Stroll past hidden courtyards, quaint canals, vibrant market stalls, and flower-lined streets featured in my Jordaan City Guide.

  • Mindful creativity: Slow down and observe your surroundings with a fresh eye — perfect for travel photography and creative inspiration.

  • Small group setting: Each session is limited to just 6 participants to allow for personalized guidance.

  • No camera? No problem: Film cameras are available to rent (includes a roll of 35mm and refundable deposit).
