If you're drawn to analog photography but unsure by where to begin — you're in the right place. I’ve created a Film Fundamentals Workshop that covers the basics of 35mm film.

We’ll review which film to choose and how to load it, plus lighting and composition tips to help you create great photos.

It’s suitable for beginners and for those with past experience who want to brush up on skills and reignite their creative spark.

You’ll leave with new skills, creative confidence, and discover an intuitive way to observe the world around you using a mindful analog process.

Need a camera? You can rent one!

Classic SLR models like the Canon AE1 are available to rent and include a roll of 35m film (additional €50 fee). You’ll shoot the roll during our photowalk and I can suggest where to get your film developed in Amsterdam.

If you need to reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. Unfortunately, no-shows are non-refundable.

Small Group Workshops offer a focused, creative session with the energy of learning alongside others. Groups are limited to 5 participants. You'll enjoy a calm setting and creative space without feeling rushed or overlooked. Fee: €80 per person.

1:1 Workshops offer a personal experience tailored to your skill set and creative goals. We will cover the basics and you can choose to focus on street photography, portraits, or experimental techniques.
Fee: €180 per person.

We'll being with a relaxed introduction to photography with a focus on the analog process — understanding natural light, composition techniques, manual camera settings for creative control, and how to load film with confidence.

Once we’ve covered the essentials down, we’ll head out on a guided photowalk through Amsterdam's charming Jordaan neighborhood.

The Jordaan has a timeless charm for capturing authentic Amsterdam, with cozy cobblestone streets, 17th-century houses, quaint canals, and hidden courtyards.
